Salaries for live-in nannies include room and board and range from $500 and up, depending on the nanny's experience and the requirements of the job. Salaries for live-out nannies range from $15 and up per hour, depending on the nanny's experience and the requirements of the job. Professionals at ANC are available to help employers decide upon the right salary range for their job and the type of candidate that they seek to fill the job. Nannies are given at least six paid major holidays and two weeks of paid vacation, the timing of which will be mutually agreed upon. By mutual agreement, too, the nanny is often included in family vacation travel. Periodic salary and performance reviews are recommended. Legally, the nanny's salary is taxable, and social security, and worker's compensation must be paid. The family and nanny are solely responsible for all state and federal taxes. Nominal fee tax services are available for referral to our clients and their nannies. Nannies are generally given use of an automobile. You are responsible for the provision of automobile insurance coverage for the nanny as a driver of a family vehicle. |
