Autobiographical Letter and Hypothetical Questions for American Nanny Company Applicants
INSTRUCTIONS:

Please print this form, fill it out and send it back to the American Nanny Company

Please write a brief but candid autobiographical statement for families to learn more about you and your motivation for working with children in a home setting. This statement will enhance your candidacy and highlight who you are! Consider including your family background, history of child care experience, interests and hobbies and why you are motivated to be a Nanny. You might also talk about short-term and long-term goals.

Also, please comment the following hypothetical situations. How would you react?

1. The discovery of an 11 month old with an open and empty bottle of aspirin.

2. A five year old who would rather play with his puppets then get ready for school.

3. It is a rainy day and you cannot take your 3 year old to the park. What indoor activities do you do?

4. A five year old is fighting with his two year old brother over the same toy.

5. A two year old is crying because his parents have left for work and he does not know you very well.

6. Your eight year old charge tells you on your second day of work that you are not "the boss" of her and she refuses to go to soccer practice.
